"New Shoes"

Woke up cold one tuesday,
I'm looking tired and feeling quite sick,
I felt like there was something missing in my day to day life,
So i quickly opened the wardrobe,
Pulled out some jeans and a T-Shirt that seemed clean,
Topped it off with a pair of old shoes,
That were ripped around the seams,
And i thought these shoes just don't suit me.

And i thought hello new shoes,
Byebye them blues.

im back.
i had no time to write.

im trying to accept the fact now that things just arent going to go the way that i want them to.
yes i work hard and try to do my best, but for some reason it still isn't enough.
i don't understand.
why is it happening to me?
its just not right.

it doesn't help that sudddenly everyone around me is finding someone.
suddenely i'm the lonely girl that can't get a man.
suddenely everything i do is used against me.
suddenely i don't matter.
i just need someone to be there for me.
wether its the guy i want it to be or a guy i just met.
i need them.

i just wish it was summer.
i could start over and try to make things better.
maybe i'll actually have fun.
maybe i'll find someone.
maybe i won't.
but at least the odds will then be in my favor.
